Omagh Living History Park

As well as providing characters on local historical sites, NPP also brings artefacts and costumed characters into schools. This offers an alternative for schools that may have limited financial resources or difficulty in accessing historical locations.

	Battle of Kinsale This is a novel and interactive technique used to re-enact the battle of Kinsale, one of the most important battles in Irish History. Using war gaming models on a “battlefield” with the typography previously marked out we illustrate the movement of the armies during the battle. Involving student discussion and participation, the battle reaches its historical conclusion.
